Beauty doesn't make you chase it, like everything else in this world

The privilege of being an artist is that you feel love so deeply from seeing the natural world around you that you can create from that place, and that you can remind people to stop chasing and start staring too.
We humans chase so many things in this life. We chase security, love from others, relationships, power, money, maybe fame. We can chase and chase and chase.
But the one thing
we do not have to chase is
... beauty.
Beauty is free
it's just there,
existing.
It's in the claret ash shedding for winter, the friendly moon softly illuminating an evening
and a tiny ladybug perching on a strand of grass.
It's there in the sky, the bluest of skies and how many times
do you actually just ponder,
"Wow, what a glorious colour...
BLUE... what a colour to behold!"
Beauty doesn't make you chase it,
like everything else in this world
because beauty is a gift of love.
Each soul over a life-time may figure out
who the Giver of beauty truly is.
Either way, as an artist, my privilege is to help people realise through my paintings
that Love is being gifted to you in the form of beauty.
With each painting, I am participating in Love,
and you are romanticising it with me as you hang it in your home.
So remember ,
it's there all around you
and it's something
you don't have to chase.
Romanticise it
with me.
